Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor: Installation

- Install the NOx sensor.
- Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
- Attach the wiring harness retainers as noted during removal.
- Connect the NOx sensor electrical connector.
NOTE:
Check for the presence of anti-seize on the first 3 threads of the sensor. If there is no anti-seize present or is partially missing, apply anti-seize to the first 3 threads of the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) sensor prior to installation.
NOTE:
The NOx sensor wiring harness routing and position of retainers varies by wheel base. Typical application shown in illustration.
NOTE:
Do not apply any type of electrical grease or lubricants to the electrical connector.
