Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor Module: Installation

  1. Install the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) sensor module and the 2 bolts.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
    2. NOTE: Do not apply any type of electrical grease or lubricants to the electrical connectors.
  2. Connect the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) sensor electrical connector and the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) sensor module electrical connector.
    3. NOTE: This step may not be needed if the calibration levels of the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor Module and PCM are coordinated (matched).
  3. Using the scan tool, update the NOx sensor module and the PCM to the latest calibration level following the on-screen instructions.
