Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - Secondary Cooling System ECT2: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Drain the powertrain secondary cooling system. For additional information refer to ENGINE COOLING - 6.7L DIESEL POWERTRAIN SECONDARY COOLING .
- Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) 2 electrical connector.
- Remove the ECT 2 sensor.
NOTE:
Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to working on the electronic engine controls or the vehicle may be damaged.
