Transmission Fluid Cooler-Water-to-Oil, Diesel: Installation

Install the transmission fluid cooler and the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).

NOTE: Transmission fluid cooler inlet hose shown in illustration outlet hose similar.

Connect the transmission fluid cooler hoses.
Attach wiring harness pin-type retainer.

Connect the transmission fluid cooler tube assembly.

Install the transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches.

NOTE: Evaluate the cooling system condition before filling the secondary cooling system. Failure to follow these instructions can result in damage to the engine.

Evaluate the secondary cooling system condition. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Condition Evaluation in ENGINE COOLING - 6.7L DIESEL POWERTRAIN SECONDARY COOLING .
Fill and bleed the diesel powertrain secondary cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - 6.7L DIESEL POWERTRAIN SECONDARY COOLING .
Top off with transmission fluid and check for leaks.
