Body Mount #3

  1. Regular and Crew Cab, position the rear seat backrest forward.
  2. SuperCab, remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
    NOTE: Left Hand (LH) side shown in illustration, Right Hand (RH) side similar.
    3. NOTE: Do not apply heat to the body bolt from the underside of the vehicle or damage to the body insulator may occur.
    NOTE: The purpose for heating is to only loosen the threadlock and sealer on the bolt.

  3. Using the Mini-Ductor (IDIMD-600) or equivalent, apply heat to the cage nut for 15 seconds.
    4. NOTE: Body bolt installation is addressed in the cab-off procedure. For additional information, refer to BODY - DIESEL .
  4. Using a suitable tool, hold the cage nut and remove the body bolt with an impact tool.
  5. SuperCab, install the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  6. Return to Body - Diesel.
