Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Using a new TB gasket, install the TB and the 4 bolts.
    • Tighten the 4 TB bolts in a crisscross pattern.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  2. Connect the TB electrical connector.
  3. Install the CAC outlet tube clip and connect the CAC outlet tube to the Throttle Body (TB).
  4. Perform the PCM adaptive value reset for the TB.
    1. Turn the ignition key ON without cranking the engine.
    2. Turn the ignition key OFF.
    3. Wait 30 seconds for the PCM to reset the adaptive values for the TB.
    4. Start the engine.
