Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the Body Control Module (BCM). For additional information, refer to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
  2. If equipped with four wheel drive, remove the TCCM. Refer to FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) SYSTEMS .
  3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the blower motor-to-blower motor housing extension screw.
  5. Remove the 2 blower motor-to-heater core and evaporator core housing screws.
  6. Remove the 2 blower motor housing extension screws.
  7. Remove the blower motor and blower motor housing extension.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
