Reductant Injector: Installation

NOTE: When reinstalling the reductant injector, a new reductant injector gasket must be installed.

Install a new gasket and the reductant injector.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
Connect the reductant injector electrical connector.

Connect the reductant pressure line to the reductant injector.

NOTE: Make sure the reductant pressure line heat shield is installed back in position. Failure to do so can cause system overheating or freeze up.

Slide the reductant pressure line heat shield back on the reductant pressure connector on the reductant injector.
