Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to the Intake Air System Components - Exploded View, 6.7L Diesel in INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
  2. Detach and disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector.
    3. NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal.
  3. Remove the EGRT sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
    4. NOTE: Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the EGRT sensor.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
