Brake Shift Interlock Actuator: Removal

Remove the selector lever mechanism. For additional information, refer to SELECTOR LEVER MECHANISM .
Remove the Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) screw.

Remove the BSIA.
1. Gently pry out the clip.
2. While simultaneously removing the BSIA from the selector lever mechanism housing.

Remove the park position switch.
1. Using a suitable tool, press the spring loaded pin.
2. While rotating the park position switch clockwise and removing it from the selector lever mechanism.
