Telematics Module: Installation

  1. Position the telematics module and install the 2 screws.
  2. Install the RH instrument panel side trim panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel - Exploded View in INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  3. Connect the telematics module electrical connector.
  4. Close the glove compartment.
  5. Initialize the telematics module.
    1. Wait 5 minutes after the modem-antenna is installed.
    2. Turn the ignition to RUN.
    3. Wait 10 seconds.
    4. Start the vehicle and run the engine for 30 seconds.
    5. Turn the ignition to OFF.
