BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Fuse
- Communication concern
- Rear parking aid camera
- TR input concern
- Infotainment display concern
- LIN concern
- BCM (without PTBA)
- APIM (vehicles equipped with 8 in (203 mm) touchscreen)
- IPMB (with PTBA)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- If the vehicle is equipped with an 8 in (203 mm) touchscreen display, perform an APIM reset and reevaluate the concern prior to following this pinpoint test. REFER to: Reset the SYNC Module [APIM] .
- BJB Fuse 113 (7.5A).
- Verify the tailgate is fully closed.
- If the rear parking aid camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative. Verify the rear parking aid camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
NOTE:
Before disconnecting the camera, verify the connector is properly seated and latched.
