Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch and Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch Field Coil: Removal

Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 2.7L EcoBoost (238kW/324PS) . Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 3.5L EcoBoost (272kW/370PS) . Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 3.5L Duratec (209kW/284PS) . Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT .

Remove the A/C clutch disc bolt and the A/C clutch disc. Use Special Service Tool: 412-134 Holding Tool, Compressor Clutch.Torque
: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
- 4.NOTE: Do not use air tools. Damage to the A/C clutch pulley or A/C compressor may result.
Remove the A/C compressor pulley. Use Special Service Tool: 412-001 (T71P-19703-B) Remover, Compressor Pulley.
