Fuel Lines: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
- 3.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- 4.
- Disconnect the fuel supply line-to-fuel rail quick release coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .
NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel lines after releasing the fuel system pressure. When disconnecting or removing any fuel lines, carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.- Release the clip and position aside the fuel supply line.

Release the retainer clip on the rear of the transmission and position aside the fuel supply line.
- 8.
- Disconnect the front fuel supply line-to-fuel tank fuel supply line quick connect coupling. Refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
- Release the retainer clips.
- Remove the fuel supply line from the bottom of the vehicle.
