Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

1.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

2.

Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .

3.

Remove the rear driveshaft. Refer to: Rear Driveshaft .

4.

Release the clamp and position the fuel filler pipe hose aside.

5.

Disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe vapor tube quick release coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .

6.

Remove the bolt and the fuel tank filler pipe.
Torque

: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
