Muffler Inlet Pipe: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Clean all exhaust connections before reassembly.

1.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

2.

Loosen the clamp.
Torque

: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

During removal, the locator tab needs to be released out of the muffler inlet pipe.

Remove the bolts and the muffler inlet pipe.
Torque

: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
