Catalytic Converter LH: Installation

NOTE:
Evenly tighten the LH catalytic converter nuts.
Position the LH catalytic converter in vehicle. Install the new LH catalytic converter nuts.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Tighten the clamp.Torque
: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

Connect the catalyst monitor sensor electrical connector.

If equipped, install the underbody shield.Torque
: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Connect the HO2S electrical connector.

Check the exhaust system for leaks.
