Tailgate Moulding: Removal

- 1.
Remove the 8 screws from the tailgate liner.Torque
: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

Remove the 4 push pin retainers.

Using a non-marring trim tool, disengage the retainers from the tailgate and remove the moulding.

- 9.
Remove the 2 retainer nuts and washers.Torque
: 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)

NOTE:
Use care when disengaging push pins from tailgate to avoid damage to the applique.
Using a non-marring trim tool, disengage the 24 push pin retainers from the tailgate and remove the applique.
