Pickup Bed Side Step: Removal

  1. 1.

    With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

  1. 2.

    NOTE: If equipped, SuperCrew 5.5 ft. styleside pickup box.

    Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the step assembly.

    Torque

    : 30 lb.ft (41 Nm)

  1. 3.

    Remove the step assembly.

  1. 4.

    Remove the 3 bolts and remove the bracket assembly.

    Torque

    : 30 lb.ft (41 Nm)

  1. 5.

    NOTE: If equipped with 8.5 ft. or 6.5 ft. styleside pick up box.

    Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the step assembly

    Torque

    : 30 lb.ft (41 Nm)

  1. 6.

    Remove the step assembly.

  1. 7.

    Remove the 4 bolts and remove the bracket assembly.

    Torque

    : 30 lb.ft (41 Nm)
