Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Deactivation and Reactivation: Reactivation

All vehicles

Remove RCM fuse 33 (10A) from the BCM.
Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
Vehicles with side impact protection
From under the rear of the LH front seat, connect side air bag module electrical connector C3051, slide and engage the locking clip.
Connect the LH Safety Canopy® module electrical connector.
- After the electrical connector is connected, push the lock back into the electrical connector.
Position the LH sun visor retaining clip and install the screw.
Install the LH sun visor.
- Connect the electrical connector and install the screws.
Install the LH A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
From under the rear of the RH front seat, connect side air bag module electrical connector C339, slide and engage the locking clip.
Connect the RH Safety Canopy® module electrical connector.
- After the electrical connector is connected, push the lock back into the electrical connector.
Position the RH sun visor retaining clip and install the screw.
Install the RH sun visor.
- Connect the electrical connector and install the screws.
Install the RH A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Vehicles with a passenger air bag
Install the passenger air bag. For additional information, refer to PASSENGER AIRBAG .
All vehicles
Install the driver air bag. For additional information, refer to DRIVER AIRBAG .
Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING .
