Transmission Fluid Warmer - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- 2.NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler supply and return tubes from the cooler bypass valve.
- 3.
If necessary, remove the transmission fluid cooler supply and return tube backing rings and band seals from the cooler bypass valve.
- 4.NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the bolts and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the cooler bypass valve and the transmission fluid warmer.
- 5.
If necessary, remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes backing rings and band seals from the transmission fluid warmer and the cooler bypass valve.
- 7.NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Install hose clamping pliers on the coolant hoses, release the hose clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.Install the General Equipment:
