Transmission Fluid Cooler Supply Tube - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT: Removal

All vehicles 

1. 1.
   
   With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

1. 2.
   
   
   NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

   Remove the bolt, rotate the bracket and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler supply tube from the cooler bypass valve.

   If necessary, remove the transmission cooler return tube backing ring and band seal from the cooler bypass valve.

   Remove the LH headlamp assembly. REFER to: Headlamp Assembly .

   Remove the pushpins and the radiator site shield.

   Remove the supply and return tube bracket bolt.

   Release the clamp and remove the transmission fluid cooler supply tube.
