P262A - FUEL INJECTOR - PILOT INJECTION NOT LEARNED
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) calibrates pilot injection during DFSO by commanding individual fuel injectors to spray a discrete amount of fuel and comparing the resulting crankshaft acceleration to an expected threshold. If the acceleration deviates from the threshold, the PCM then adjusts the injector until it matches the expected acceleration. This DTC sets if a fuel injector not currently set to fire causes a greater crankshaft acceleration than the injector that is currently firing. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids: Carry out the power balance test to verify cylinders contribution. Disregard any DTCs set as a result of the power balance test. Single or inconsistent non-contributing power cylinder traces may be caused by a natural variation in a crankshaft speed and should be ignored. | |||
