P20BF - REDUCTANT HEATER B CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) carries out a functional key ON, engine running (KOER) self-test for the glow plug system. During that test the PCM enables the glow plug control module (GPCM) which monitors the RDHTRC2 circuit. When the GPCM detects that the RDHTRC2 circuit is drawing more than 15 amps for more than 250 milliseconds, a short to ground is suspect. The GPCM sends a message to the PCM, which sets this DTC. | |||
