P20BC - REDUCTANT HEATER A CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) carries out a functional key ON, engine running (KOER) self-test for the glow plug system. During that test the PCM enables the glow plug control module (GPCM) which monitors the reductant heater circuits. When the GPCM detects that the RDHTRC1 circuit is drawing 0 amps for more than 250 milliseconds, a short to voltage is suspect. The GPCM sends a message to the PCM, which sets this DTC. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids:
The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. Check for a short to voltage in the wiring harness. |
