P208E - REDUCTANT INJECTION VALVE STUCK CLOSED (BANK 1 UNIT 1)
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors reductant injector needle movement by monitoring the amount of current necessary to fire the injector solenoid. When the needle has reached its upper limit, the current ripples. If this ripple does not occur, the injector needle is stuck. The PCM then sets this DTC and shuts down the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system until the next key cycle. | |||
