P167F - Non-OEM Calibration Detected

P167F - NON-OEM CALIBRATION DETECTED

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an unauthorized calibration.
Possible Causes: 
  • Aftermarket accessories and performance modifications
  • PCM programming error
Diagnostic Aids: 
  • Reprogram or update the calibration. Reprogram the vehicle identification (VID) block (use as built data). Check for other DTCs or drive symptoms for further action. Make sure to check for aftermarket performance products before installing a new PCM. If it is necessary to install a new PCM, refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) .
