P0629 - Fuel Pump A Control Circuit High

P0629 - FUEL PUMP A CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the fuel pump command (FPC) circuit output from the PCM. The test fails if the FPC output is commanded ON and excessive current draw is detected on the FPC circuit.
Possible Causes: 
  • FPC circuit short to voltage in the harness
  • Damaged fuel pump relay
Diagnostic Aids: 
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST MA .
