P0405 - Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR) Sensor A Circuit Low

P0405 - EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) SENSOR A CIRCUIT LOW

Description:  This DTC sets when the EGRVP voltage is below the expected voltage.
Possible Causes: 
  • EGR circuit open
  • EGR circuit short to ground
  • VREF circuit open
  • Damaged EGR valve position sensor
  • Damaged EGR valve
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST W .
