P02EC - Diesel Intake Airflow Control System - High Airflow Detected

P02EC - DIESEL INTAKE AIRFLOW CONTROL SYSTEM - HIGH AIRFLOW DETECTED

Description:  The DTC sets when the desired mass air flow versus the actual mass air flow measured from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor is outside a calibrated limit.
Possible Causes: 
  • Aftermarket intake systems or exhaust systems
  • Restricted air flow (intake or exhaust)
  • Damaged MAF sensor
  • Turbocharger system concern
  • Damaged intake throttle actuator
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.
Diagnose all other powertrain related DTCs first.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
