P0243 - Turbocharger/Supercharger WASTEGATE Solenoid A

P0243 - TURBOCHARGER/SUPERCHARGER WASTEGATE SOLENOID A

Description:  This DTC sets when the PCM detects an open in the TCWRVS circuit.
Possible Causes: 
  • TCWRVS circuit open
  • TCWRVS solenoid connector disconnected
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.
Pull on the TCWRVS connector to determine if it is correctly seated.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST AK .
