P0181 - FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the fuel rail temperature (FRT) sensor input to determine if the FRT sensor signal is within an expected range. The test fails when the fuel temperature falls below or exceeds a minimum or maximum calibrated value for a calibrated period of time. | |||
Possible Causes:

| Diagnostic Aids: Monitor the FRT voltage and temperature PIDs on a scan tool to isolate an open or short circuit from the system concern. Repair any FRT circuit related DTCs first. | |||
