P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map)/Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor High

P0108 - MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP)/BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR HIGH

Description:  This DTC sets when the MAP signal voltage is higher than a specified value indicating a short to voltage.
Possible Causes: 
  • VREF circuit short to voltage
  • MAP circuit open or short to voltage
  • Damaged MAP sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.
If the MAP sensor operating voltage is greater than 4.75 volts for more than 2 seconds, a concern is indicated.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
