P0093 - Fuel System Leak Detected - Large Leak

P0093 - FUEL SYSTEM LEAK DETECTED - LARGE LEAK

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the fuel volume control valve value necessary to maintain a desired fuel rail pressure and sets a DTC when the set point needed for the fuel volume control valve to maintain desired fuel rail pressure exceeds a calibrated limit.
Possible Causes: 
  • Fuel system leak
Diagnostic Aids:  This DTC is set when the PCM detects the requested fuel volume control value exceeds a calibrated threshold indicating a large fuel system leak.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST M .
