P008A - LOW PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE - TOO LOW
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors low pressure fuel system pressure using the fuel delivery pressure switch. When the low pressure fuel system pressure drops below 365 kPa (53 psi) for 60 seconds, the switch closes, grounding the fuel delivery pressure switch (FDPS) circuit and setting this DTC. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids:
The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. Verify the fuel level, grade and quality is sufficient to support normal operation of the engine. |
