P0089 - FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR PERFORMANCE
| Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) circuit for an electrical concern. The test fails when the signal moves outside the minimum or maximum allowable calibrated parameters for a specified fuel pressure control valve duty cycle by the PCM command. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids:
The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. This DTC sets when the measured fuel rail pressure exceeds commanded fuel rail pressure by a calibrated limit. |
