P007C - Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor Circuit Low (Bank 1)

P007C - CHARGE AIR COOLER TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1)

Description:  This DTC sets when the CACT temperature is greater than the calibrated value for the CACT sensor or a short to ground is detected in the CACT circuit.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged CACT sensor
  • CACT circuit short to ground
  • VPWR circuit open
  • Low airflow through the charge air cooler (CAC)
  • Damaged harness connector
  • Damaged harness
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.
Check the harness for intermittent concerns, incorrect connections, routing, alterations and damage due to contact with other components.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST FB .
