Coolant Crossover Manifold: Installation

1.

Install new gaskets.

2.

Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine coolant.
Material

: Motorcraft® Orange Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant / VC-3-B (WSS-M97B44-D)

3.

Install the coolant crossover manifold and the bolts.
Torque:

Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Stage 2: 45°

4.

Connect the coolant hose.
Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

5.

Install the intake manifold. REFER to: INTAKE MANIFOLD .

6.

Fill and bleed the cooling system. REFER to: Cooling System Draining and Vacuum Filling .
