Oil Cooler: Installation

NOTE: Make sure the oil cooler-to-oil filter adapter is aligned.

Install the oil cooler and the retainer.

Torque

: 43 lb.ft (58 Nm)

  Using the hose clamp installer, install the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  Remove the hose locking pliers.

If equipped, connect the block heater cord.

NOTE: Do not lubricate the engine oil filter gasket.

Install a new engine oil filter.

Torque

: Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) Stage 2: 180 °

5.

Install the turbocharger inlet tube and connect the turbocharger inlet tube into the grommet. Tighten the clamp at the turbocharger.
Torque

: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Connect the quick connect couplings and the turbocharger bypass tube. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .

  Install the PCV tube. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING

  Connect the PCV pressure sensor electrical connector.

Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE .

9.

Remove the engine appearance cover.

10.

Inspect and adjust the coolant level in the degas bottle.

: Motorcraft ® Orange Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant / VC-3-B (WSS-M97B44-D)

11.

Inspect and adjust the engine oil level.
Material

: Motorcraft ® SAE 5W-30 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-QSP (WSS-M2C946-A)
