Brake Shift Interlock Actuator - Vehicles With: Column Shift: Removal

1.

Remove the selector lever mechanism. REFER to: Selector Lever Mechanism .

2.

Remove the brake shift interlock actuator screw.

Gently pry the clip out and remove the brake shift interlock actuator from the selector lever mechanism.

Remove the park position switch.

  Press the park position switch spring loaded pin.
1. 2.
  
  While pressing in on the spring loaded pin, rotate the park position switch clockwise and remove it from the selector lever mechanism.
