Headlamp Assembly: Removal

- 1.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview

Vehicles without fender mouldings
- 2.
Remove the headlamp trim panel screws and push pin.

Vehicles equipped with fender mouldings
- 3.
Remove the two fender moulding screws.

- 4.
Release the front three fender moulding retainers and position the fender moulding out.

Remove the pushpins and screws, position the fender liner aside.

Remove the pin-type retainer.

Remove the headlamp assembly trim panel.
- 1.
Remove the pin-type retainer.
- 2.
Starting at the inner edge release the headlamp assembly trim panel clips.
- 3.
Starting at the outer edge release the headlamp assembly trim panel.
- 4.
Using a flat-blade screwdriver release the locking tabs.

Remove the screws.

Release the two tabs and remove the air channel.

Remove the headlamp assembly trim panel bracket screws.

Remove the headlamp assembly trim panel bracket.
- 1.
Squeeze the tabs and release the headlamp assembly trim panel bracket.
- 2.
Slide the bracket outward.

Disconnect the marker lamp electrical connector.

Remove the headlamp assembly screws and position the headlamp assembly forward.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the headlamp assembly.
