Steering Column Tilt Motor: Removal

1.

Remove the steering column. REFER to: Steering Column .

2.

Detach the tilt motor electrical connector retainer from the steering column.

Remove the tilt motor screws.
Torque

: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

Remove the screws and the trunnion nut capture bracket.
Torque

: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

5.

Remove the tilt motor.
