Axle Shaft Seal: Installation

1.

Replace the axle shaft circlips.

Using the special tool, install the new axle shaft pilot bearing.
Use Special Service Tool: 205-123 (T78P-1177-A)Installer, Axle Shaft Oil Seal.

Using the special tools, install the new axle shaft seal.
Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle, 206-034 (T88P-20202-B) Installer, Wheel Speed Sensor Ring.

NOTE: The axle shaft is not fully seated until the circlip is engaged with the differential side gear.

Install the axle shaft.

Install the halfshafts. REFER to: Halfshaft .
