Rear Wheel Bearing: Installation

1.

Lubricate the new rear wheel bearing.
Material

: Motorcraft ® SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant / XY-75W85-QL (WSS-M2C942-A)

Using the special tools, install the new rear wheel bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 205-382 (T97T-1225-A) Installer, Rear Axle Differential Bearing.

- Lubricate the axle shaft seal lip.

  : Motorcraft ® SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant / XY-75W85-QL (WSS-M2C942-A)
- Using the special tools install the new axle shaft seal. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 205-381 (T97T-1177-A) Installer, Rear Axle Oil Seal.
