Removal and Installation

- Remove the exterior front door handle. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR FRONT DOOR HANDLE .
- Disconnect the push button rod from the front door latch.
- Release the front door latch actuating cable locators.
- Remove the 3 screws and position the front door latch aside.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- Disconnect the front door latch electrical connector(s).
- Remove the front door latch cable water seal.
- Remove the front door latch.
- Release the cable conduit.
- Release the cable.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The window must be in the raised position.
