Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the hood release retaining bolt.
  2. Position aside the hood release assembly.
    • Disconnect the hood release cable routing retainer.
  3. Remove the 2 bumper cover-to-bumper bracket bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
  4. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.
  5. NOTE: To assist with bumper alignment, mark the 4 bumper mounting nuts to the bumper bracket.

    Remove the 4 front bumper nuts.

    • To install, tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the front bumper.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
