Rear Door Latch - Super Crew: Installation

NOTE: Ensure the latch lever is in the relaxed (all the way up) position prior to connecting the exterior rear door handle actuating rod to the latch. Do not apply downward pressure when connecting the exterior rear door handle actuating rod to the latch this could result in improper operation of the power door lock.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Check for proper operation.
1. Lock the doors using the power door lock switch.
2. Attempt to open the door using the exterior door handle.
3. If the door opens, locate the clip on the latch and re-adjust the position of the clip on the door handle actuating rod.
