Removal and Installation

NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.

Release the backrest latch.
- From behind the backrest, pull up on the latch release and pull the backrest forward.
- Release the cushion latch and lower the cushion and backrest.
- To install, slide the striker pin up/down and align to the backrest latch.

Remove the bolt and striker.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the backrest is fully latched when completed.
