Exterior Mirror Motor Synchronization - Power Folding

NOTE: The power folding mirrors may need to be synchronized anytime the mirrors are folded or unfolded without using the exterior mirror control switch, or if a new power folding mirror is installed.

NOTE: If the power folding mirrors are electronically folded or unfolded continuously (6 to 10 cycles), the power lockout feature will disable the system for 3-10 minutes to prevent damage to the power fold motors. After 3-10 minutes have elapsed, normal operation will resume.

Fold the mirrors back on each side so they are parallel with the side windows.
Position the exterior mirror control switch to the CENTER position.
Press the exterior mirror control switch rearward to the FOLD/UNFOLD position and cycle the power folding mirrors in and out until a loud popping noise is heard.
