Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor - 5.0L (4V): Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional in formation, refer to ENGINE - 5.0L (4V) .
  2. Disconnect the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
  4. NOTE: The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor bolt is part of the CKP  sensor and cannot be removed.

    Loosen the bolt and remove the CKP  sensor.
